Where should I start with Critical Path?
A practical first-week setup and the fastest path to help.
Start with one real outcome and a small number of commitments. A sample backlog makes it harder to see whether Critical Path is helping.
1. Set a realistic weekly capacity in Help & setup.
2. Capture three to five actions. Give each a concrete next step and one accountable owner. Add a due date only when there is a real commitment.
3. Decide which actions are important and urgent, then allocate enough effort to the most important work.
4. If your plan includes a connected calendar, protect one focus block and verify the event in the calendar provider. A saved action alone does not prove the block was accepted.
5. Review blocked handoffs and the outcome after a week. Recommit, delegate, or stop work that no longer matters.
